1) General Eligibility Requirement
a. Registered as a full-time student at a home university.
b. Have completed at least two academic semesters at home university.
c. CGPA score: minimum 3.0 / 4.0.
d. TOEFL iBT: 79, TOEFL ITP: 550, IELTS Band 6 or Duolingo 95-100
e. Have good English proficiency in both speaking and writing.
f. Must agree to abide by the rules and regulations of UKM or placement provider.
g. Agrees to be responsible for the costs incurred.
2) Nomination
Deadline: 10th January 2023 (MYT)
The nomination form (please refer to the attachment) must be emailed to exchange@ukm.edu.my through the home International Office only. Direct applications by students will not be accepted.
3) Application and Submission of Supporting Documents
Deadline: 10th January 2023 (MYT)
To apply for the program, please submit your students’applications to exchange@ukm.edu.my by the deadline.
All documents must be presented in English (or translated into English).
a. UKM Inbound Student Application Form: Application For UKM Non-Graduate Programme.
b. An official Academic Transcript (with a minimum 3.00 / 4.00 CGPA)
c. Proof of English proficiency with a minimum score of :
i. TOEFL iBT: 79 or above
ii. TOEFL ITP: 550 or above
iii. IELTS: 6.0 or above
iv. Duolingo 95-100 or above
d. A letter of Recommendation from Home University
e. A copy of the passport (IMPORTANT: The passport must be valid for at least 18 months at the point of e-VAL /student visa application)
f. 1 copy of the photo with size 4.5 cm X 5.0 cm (White background)

5) Accommodation
UKM Global will assist in making the accommodation arrangement at the Ibu Zain Residential College (KIZ) only. It's located at the UKM Bangi campus (main campus). If you wish to apply for our on-campus accommodation (Ibu Zain College), please fill in the
Application Form and submit it to us at least 45 days prior to your arrival. More information on : https://www.ukm.my/pha/exchange/#after-applying
Note: Late submissions will not be entertained and students are required to make their own arrangements.
*Students are required to make a deposit payment worth one month's rental fee plus the first month's rental fee (1+1) during the check-in day.

We will inform you accordingly should there be any incomplete documents or if there is a need for any revision to be made.
